“ปาย 762 โค้ง แม่ฮ่องสอน 1,864 โค้ง” นี่คงแทบจะเรียกว่าเป็นจุดขายหลักเลยก็ว่าได้ ค่าที่ไม่มีจังหวัดไหนที่เต็มไปด้วยทางคดเคี้ยวมากไปกว่านี้แล้ว คนที่ไม่คุ้นชินหนีไม่พ้นเจอพิษเมารถ ซึ่งไม่ใช่เรื่องสนุกและน่าปรารถนาขณะเดินทางเลยแม้แต่น้อย การไปถึงแทบจะกลายเป็นความสำเร็จอันสร้างความภาคภูมิใจ นักท่องเที่ยวไทยมักพากันไปเยือนแดนสามหมอกในช่วงหน้าหนาว วัยรุ่นวัยคะนองมักชื่นชอบโบกรถ ในขณะที่คนจำนวนมากนิยมขับยวดยานส่วนตัวเพราะสะดวกสบายกว่า สามารถแวะตามจุดท่องเที่ยวระหว่างทางได้ส่วนนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติหากไม่โดยสารรถประจำทางจากตัวเมืองเชียงใหม่ ก็มักใช้วิธีเช่ามอเตอร์ไซค์ขับ แม้จะอันตรายกว่าเพราะถนนไต่ขึ้นลงคดเคี้ยว แต่อย่างน้อยก็ลาดยางและอิสระกว่าการนั่งรถตู้หรือรถประจำทางแน่นอนว่าการสัญจรไปมาในปัจจุบันง่ายกว่าในอดีตอยู่มากระยะเวลาร่นลดลงกว่าอดีต และทรมานน้อยลงกว่าเช่นเดียวกัน

would easily get carsick for sure, which is not fun and not preferred while traveling. Arrival at Pai or Mae Hong Son would become a proud achievement. Thai tourists often go to visit The Land of Three Mists (a nick name of Mae Hong Son) in winter season. Young folks like to hitchhike while a lot of people prefer to drive their own private cars because it is more convenient and they can stop at tourist spots on the way. For foreign tourists, if not taking the buses from Chiang Mai city, they often rent motorcycles. Although riding motorcycle is more dangerous but at least, there is an asphalt road. Moreover, riding motorcycle feel more unfettered than sitting in a van or bus. Nowadays, the travelling is much easier than in the past. The duration has decreased more than in the past and less suffered as well.
